This was a pilot league so no medals or trophies.

Format is 3 x 20 minutes games.

As there was no official winners, after 4 wins and 1 defeat we can’t have been far from coming out on top.

What is really pleasing is how committed the group of players has been to make the fixtures and how much our match play is improving to squeeze out results in tough matches.

Clevedon Town Yellows – away After a disappointing start being edged out to the Clevedon Town Yellows on a wet and miserable January day. The remaining fixtures were played out in sunny spring. Here is a quick summary of the results.

Keynsham – away – a very strong club and a useful benchmark for our progress as they gave us a lesson in tactics last autumn, So an away win with the critical goal coming from Adie Phillips.

Clevedon Town Blues – home – another benchmark team and another super tight game where a lapse in concentration would cost the game but we managed to get the crucial goal and hold on to get revenge over the first win.

Peasdown – home – another well established club that had a long journey to play us. An unknown quantity and they proved strong opponents but our game experience is starting to really show now during matches.
